CGC AND COSS JOIN FORCES

This article describes the cooperation between the Chelmsford Garden Club and Chelmsford Open Space Stewards working together.

Chelmsford Garden Club and Chelmsford Open Space Stewards have long ago joined forces to beautify the town of Chelmsford. This week Phil and Joanne Stanway delivered 40 pots of healthy plants from COSS to the site of the new Chelmsford Public Garden and then stayed to help plant them. In return Carol Langevin, Chelmsford Garden Club President, presented Phil with a check for $500 to help buy supplies for the work that COSS does throughout the year. It is this spirit of cooperation that has helped establish the memorial garden at Heart Pond and now the new garden on the site of the old fire station. We look forward to many more years of joining hands to accomplish great things.
