CGC Doing Daffodils at CPG
This article describes the actions of the Chelmsford Garden Club members working at the newly established Chelmsford Public Garden

On this brisk autumn day a hearty group of Chelmsford Garden Club workers set out to plant a variety of daffodils to welcome spring. Do you remember the spring in 2017 when the tulips began to bloom in Chelmsford Public Garden? It was such a glorious sight that cars actually slowed down just to see them. Next spring the combination of colorful tulips and the assorted varieties of daffodils will create a vision of beauty that is rarely seen around town. The dedication of the club members continues to grow as the addition of new flowers and trees has increased. The town installed new brick sidewalks that is reminiscent of a by gone era and further enhances the garden. The Club will continue to care for the garden and the citizens of Chelmsford can participate by donating funds and establishing memorials.
