CGC Scholarship Award 2017

Debbie Linnehan, Scholarship Chairman and Cynthia Bryant, V.P., of Chelmsford Garden Club awarded a $1000 scholarship to Sunilda Patricia Frias, a 2017 graduate of Chelmsford High School. Sunilda is an outstanding student who was a member of the National Honors French Society and Manos que Ayudan (Hands that Help) Best Coach award. She served as a volunteer at Centro de Apoyo Familiar, a nonprofit organization which specializes in providing immigrant families with the tools to better themselves. She coached Volleyball and Soccer and gave recycling seminars at first time homebuyer’s trainings. She plans to attend UMass Lowell to study biology. During her school career she has shown outstanding scholarship and extraordinary community service commitment. The Club congratulates her on her accomplishments and wishes her a happy and successful future. Chelmsford Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of MA and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
