CHELMSFORD, MA – A crash in Chelmsford seriously injured a pedestrian Thursday afternoon, police said. The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. on Billerica Road near Omni Way, according to police. The pedestrian, a 54-year-old Lowell man, was flown to a Boston area hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition is unknown. The driver of the car remained at the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
