Chelmsford to Dedicate Town's New 9/11 Memorial Thursday

Community will gather at memorial at 6 p.m.

On Thursday, the Chelmsford community will gather to remember the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and dedicate the town’s new 9/11 memorial. The memorial dedication will take place at 6 p.m.

The new memorial, constructed on the grounds of Chelmsford’s new fire headquarters is a place to honor the countless lives impacted by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Chelmsford residents Andrew Green and David Bernard were killed as a result of those actions and the town’s memorial will be dedicated in their memory and all others who lost their lives on that fateful day.
