Chelmsford dogs can get their 2017 dog licenses beginning Dec. 1.
Dog licenses are good for the 2017 calendar year. Failure to license your dog can result in a $50 citation.
The fee for licensing a spayed/neutered dog is $15, while a non-altered dog is $20. Beginning March 1 a $5 late fee will be added per month until June 30, when the fee is frozen.
