Chelmsford Election Results: Ken Lefebvre Wins (ICYMI)

Chelmsford election results April 4, 2017: Ken Lefebvre beat incumbent Bob Joyce for Selectman.

CHELMSFORD, MA — Political newcomer Ken Lefebvre on Tuesday won a seat on the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen, defeating incumbent Bob Joyce in the annual town election. Lefebvre, a financial advisor, soundly defeated Joyce, 2,179 votes to Joyce's 664, according to unofficial results. Lefebvre won a three-year term on the five-member board.

"To those who voted, held signs, support me, shared posts, and spread the word ... thank you," Lefebvre said in a statement. "I am honored to be your Selectmen for the next three years."

In the Planning Board race, Nancy Araway and Michael Raisbeck bested three other candidates.
