The Chelmsford Fire Department is showing inviting parents to bring their children to the fire house on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
There will be car seat installations and safety checks, educational material, an appearance by Pluggy the Talking Fire Hydrant, and more.
There will also be a best Halloween costume contest for children under 10.
