Chelmsford Firefighters Save Trapped Ducklings

Chelmsford firefighters recently saved a half-dozen ducklings trapped in a storm drain near Drum Hill Liquors.

CHELMSFORD, MA — Chelmsford firefighters on Thursday saved a half-dozen ducklings that fell through a storm drain near Drum Hill Liquors. An employee called for help shortly before 9 a.m. Firefighters and paramedics were quick to the scene.

The mother duckling was circling the drain and first responders found the ducklings trapped below. They pulled off the cover and scooped out the chicks.
