The Chelmsford Garden Club Receives Chelmsford Outstanding Citizen Award 2016

The article explains the reason the Chelmsford Outstanding Citizen Award 2016 was given to Chelmsford Garden Club

The Chelmsford Garden Club was presented Citizen of the year award by the town of Chelmsford. We were one of 5 recipients. This award was for all community service projects we do around our town. The award is for all our club members that work relentlessly to make our many programs successful. We especially should recognize those that participate in our annual fund raiser, without this revenue we wouldn’t be able to accomplish our many endeavors. Some of the projects we have done over the last year are listed below. The Chelmsford Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts.

Plant & Maintain Seasonal Plantings at Town Offices, Vinal Square in North, Center Watering Trough, and the Sundial on the Common.

Maintain the Butterfly Garden at Red Wing Farm
