Chelmsford Police Searching for Robbery Suspect
Suspect robbed a Citizens Bank branch inside Stop & Shop on Chelmsford Street Wednesday night.

Chelmsford Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank branch inside the Stop & Shop at 299 Chelmsford Street just before 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
According to police the suspect is described as a white male with a goatee and black hair wearing a black hat and sunglasses approximately 30 to 40 years old.
Police say no weapon was shown, but the suspect passed a note to the teller.

He was seen possibly leaving in a red Saturn or Oldsmobile Alero with a possible New Hampshire plate on the rear of the vehicle. It’s not known the direction the suspect was traveling in.
Anyone with any information about the incident, or can identify the suspect in the surveillance photo is asked to call Chelmsford police at 978-256-2521.
