THE CHELMSFORD PUBLIC GARDEN MISSION COMPLETE

The Chelmsford Public Garden started with a germ of an idea that we needed something more than a patch of weeds in the middle of our town. Then a group of ambitious and talented gardeners, otherwise known as the Chelmsford Garden Club, went to work. They approached the town and got approval for them to solicit donations of funds and labor and the citizens and the business community got on board. Nothing less than a miracle took place and in a very short period of time an exquisite green oasis appeared. So now it is time to party and everyone is invited. On Tuesday, June 14 at 4:00 p.m. the opening ceremony will begin. We have dignitaries from the town and the Garden Club Federation of MA who will speak. There will be beautiful music and refreshments and much joy and laughter. This is the party of the year so don’t miss it.
