Chelmsford Public Library To Serve As Cooling Station

The region will see heat indexes of up to 109°F this week, according to Office of Emergency Management officials.

CHELMSFORD, MA — The Chelmsford Public Library will serve as a limited-service cooling station from Wednesday, August 11 through Friday, August 13 in response to this week's heat wave.

Over the three-day period, the region will see heat indexes between 100 °F to 109°F and a heat advisory has been issued for the area, according to the Office of Emergency Management (OEM).

The library hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
