Chelmsford Student Brought Bullet To Elementary School: PD
Police went to the school Wednesday morning after a student brought a bullet to show classmates.

CHELMSFORD, MA – An elementary school student in Chelmsford brought a bullet to school to show classmates, according to police. Officers went to Harrington Elementary School around 10:30 a.m. to investigate a report of a bullet in the building.
Investigators found the student with a .45-caliber round and confiscated it, police said.
"I commend the students for reporting this incident quickly," Chief James Spinney said in a statement. "It’s important to emphasize that there was never any danger to students or staff today, and that school faculty and administrators have handled this effectively."
