Chelmsford Town Meeting: What's On The Docket?

The annual Town Meeting opens Monday, April 30.

CHELMSFORD, MA – On the heels of the Chelmsford town election is the annual Town Meeting. There are over 30 items for the town's legislative branch to discuss starting Monday, April 30.

The majority of articles have to do with the town's budget and money appropriation, though Town Meeting will also examine items like transferring land to conservation and citizen petitions. Among the requests from citizens is an amendment requiring town meeting representatives to publicly announce and record conflicts of interest and for the town clerk to post any potential conflicts for review.
