Chelmsford's Heart Pond Reopens
The pond passed its most recent test, town officials said.

CHELMSFORD, MA – Health officials have reopened Heart Pond after it was closed last week due to a high bacteria count. According to the town, the pond failed its July 3 test but passed a subsequent test July 5. It was opened to the public again on Saturday, July 7.
Heart Pond is located in the southwest part of the town, bordering Westford. The beach is open through Labor Day.
