College Student Arrested For Drunk Driving Following a High-Speed Chase
The 20-year-old Chelmsford man was also charged with operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, speeding, and failure to stop.

A Wheaton College student is scheduled to appear in Attleboro District Court on Monday on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and several other charges in connection with a high-speed crash on Friday night near the Norton/Taunton line.
Norton Officer Kevin Schleicher Jr. attempted to stop a white Audi just after 10:30 Friday night that was headed south on Taunton Avenue (Route 140).
According to Norton Police, “The vehicle recklessly turned onto Taunton Avenue at a high rate of speed and continued south on Taunton Avenue, reaching speeds estimated in excess of 100 miles per hour. Officer Schleicher attempted to stop the vehicle, keeping the vehicle in sight as it headed toward Taunton. As the vehicle crossed over the Norton/Taunton line, it crossed the double yellow line and struck a parked vehicle at 1355 Norton Avenue in Taunton. The parked vehicle was then pushed into two other parked vehicles, causing damage to all three.”
