Common Core Testing and Deficiencies Discussion Oct. 26 in Chelmsford.

Peg Luksik and Jamie Gass to discuss education in Massachusetts and the technical issues plaguing Common Core.

Back by very popular demand! Peg Luksik will be speaking in Chelmsford about Common Core, testing, and the deficiencies of one size fits all education. Joining her will be Jamie Gass from the Pioneer Institute to discuss how Massachusetts obtained the number one spot in education in the U.S. prior to CCSS and the technical problems plaguing Common Core.

The event is free and is taking place on Sunday, Oct. 26, 3-5 p.m. at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, 1A North Road in Chelmsford.

Dr. Luksik has been an educator for more than 35 years and has hosted a national television program on education issues, as well as serving as a consulstant with the U.S. Department of Education. Jamie Gass is Pioneer Institute’s Director of the Center for School Reform and speaks on academic standards, school choice options, and school accountability at events throughout the country.
