Crowds Eat Up Nashoba Tech Drama Club's Production of 'Little Shop of Horrors'

Large audiences attended all three productions of the comedy-horror musical.

Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s Drama Club played to large audiences for all three recent productions of “Little Shop of Horrors,” a comedy-horror musical.

“Little Shop of Horrors,” by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, tells the story of Seymour, a nerdy worker in a florist’s shop, who raises a rare plant that feeds on human blood.

The play starred last year’s TAMY Award winner for Best Actor, Marc Macedo (senior, Chelmsford), as Seymour; Lindsey Callan (sophomore, Groton) as Audrey; Jared Abreu (senior, Townsend) as Audrey II, the man-eating plant; Benjamin Petersen (sophomore, Billerica) as Mr. Mushnik; and Ryan Belanger (senior, Chelmsford) as Orin.
