Currents: A Juried Exhibition of Art Quilts

Lowell, MA – Join us from August 7th to September 18th to see “Currents,” a water themed, juried exhibition of art quilts created by members of the SAQA Massachusetts/Rhode Island region. A special preview is planned on August 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 during Downtown Lowell First Thursdays and an opening reception is scheduled on August 7th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Water: that transparent fluid that falls from the sky and makes up our streams, lakes and oceans and covers 71% of the earth’s surface. It is an essential component for all life forms on earth and plays a significant role in our lives every day, providing us with drinking and cooking water, agricultural irrigation and water to wash ourselves and clothing.
