DUI Charge For WEEI Radio Host From Chelmsford
WEEI's Mike Mutnansky, host of "Mut at Night," was charged with drunk driving last week in Saratoga, New York.
SARATOGA, NY — A WEEI radio host and Chelmsford resident was arrested in New York last week on a charge of drunk driving. New York State Police said Mike Mutnansky was driving his gray Toyota Camry in and out of a lane in Saratoga on East Avenue Monday, August 7. Troopers pulled his vehicle over and Mutnansky "illustrated signs of impairment," police said.

"He admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the evening," police said in a statement. "Subsequently, he was given several standard field sobriety tests and arrested for driving while intoxicated."

Mutnansky's blood-alcohol level was 0.16 percent — twice the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in Saratoga Court August 18.
Mutnansky is the host of "Mut at Night" on WEEI weeknights from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. He also hosts pre- and post-game coverage for Boston Red Sox games.

In a pair of Twitter posts Tuesday, Mutnansky wrote, "Unfortunately I can not comment on my incident right now, I certainly plan on doing so when the time is appropriate. ... For now I'm looking forward to the future."
