English At Large Announces Service Area Expansion

English At Large (EAL) is pleased to announce the expansion of its service area, to include the Chelmsford community. EAL now provides free, high-quality instructional programs in 24 local communities in Middlesex and Essex County, designed for adult immigrants who need to improve their English skills in order to achieve their life goals.

“The decision to formally expand our service area is part of our strategic plan to seek new partnerships that support our efforts to engage adult learners in underserved communities,” explains EAL Executive Director Maureen Willis. “The Chelmsford Public Library is excited to work with us, and this partnership will help meet a real need in Chelmsford, where a growing number of immigrants who can benefit from our services live and work.”

She concludes, "We invite Chelmsford residents in need of English instruction, or interested in volunteer service to explore opportunities with English At Large."

English At Large (EAL) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help adult immigrants gain greater understanding of the English language and U.S. culture through personalized instructional programs designed to support their highest aspirations.
