The Chelmsford Women of Today & the Chelmsford Public Library will co-sponsor an overview of Chelmsford's open spaces at the Chelmsford Public Library, 25 Boston Rd, on Thurs, Oct. 7 from 7 P.M. - 9 P.M..
Phil Stanway, founder of the Chelmsford Open Space Stewardship ( COSS) will discuss the locations, history, recreational options, educational and family opportunities of Chelmsford's open spaces. Individual community involvement, local group support, and working with town government will also be discussed. The untold stories of some crazy happenings will ultimately be revealed.
As Lead Steward of COSS started in 2005, Phil helps to maintain 14 open space sites covering almost 1000 acres throughout Chelmsford.
