Illumination Opera presents an evening of German Lieder, Saturday, April 6 at 7:00 pm at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 10 Billerica Road, Chelmsford. The evening will include songs by Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, Mahler, and Korngold. The hour program will be narrated by Priscilla Stevens and Susan Bishov and Joe Turbessi will be the evening’s pianists, accompanying the ten singers of Illumination Opera Company. Included in the program are 4 of Brahms’ romantic Liebeslieder-Waltzer for four singers with four hands at the piano. This program highlights beautiful song from the 18th through the 20th century.
The concert is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted to fund our December production.
