To help celebrate the new steeple, which has been a large undertaking by First Parish UU Church of Chelmsford and the Chelmsford Community, there will be a 2.5 mile Walk or Run on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, beginning in Chelmsford Center near Brick House Pizza, May 5th. Runners will begin at 8 a.m. and Walkers at 8:30 a.m. For more information or to register please visit www.uuchelmsford.org/steeple.html . Parking is available in the municipal lot behind the Fiske House. Please arrive a few minutes early. This event will be held rain or shine.
This event is a fundraiser. Suggested donations $20 for participants over 18, $10 for ages 10-17, free for children under 10 and $50 cap per family. All participants receive an event mug that can be filled with free coffee at First Parish’s May Breakfast (7am-11am), 2 Westford St, steps from the end of the race.
