World Wide Wednesdays summer concert series

WORLD WIDE WEDNESDAYS kicks off July 11 at the MacKay Library in North Chelmsford

The Chelmsford Library’s summer concert series, "World Wide Wednesdays," begins Wednesday, July 11th at the MacKay Library, at 43 Newfield Street in North Chelmsford. Concerts run from 6:30 p.m. until about 7:45 p.m. on Wednesdays from July 11th through August 15th. So bring a blanket or lawn chair and catch these acts:

July 11: Yoke Shire – (mostly) Irish music from a couple of Chelmsford natives

July 18:  Yarina - music from Ecuador

July 25: the swing-jazz music of the popular guitar-clarinet duo,  Billy Novick and Guy Van Duser

Aug 1: Los Sugar Kings - music of Cuba

Aug 8: The International String Trio - a return engagement from some amazing musicians!

Aug. 15: Young Bands on the Rise Tour - a special end-of-summer concert targeted to teens (any age will enjoy it)


In case of rain or threat of rain, concerts (except for the August 15th concert ) will be held indoors at the Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Road, North Chelmsford.

Rain location for the final concert, the "Young Bands on the Rise" tour will be in the new Chelmsford Center for the Arts.
