Five Plots Left at North Chelmsford Community Garden
If you're interested in a plot at the community garden, apply fast.
There are five community garden plots left for residents at the . The new community garden - the town's second and first in North Chelmsford - already has 30 plots in use.
Lead Open Space Steward Phil Stanway said the site's water tank was recently installed, making it easier for gardners to water their plots.
"They have the best water ever," he said. "There is a 3,000 gallon tank and it's pumped from 20 feet down and is crystal clear. With such a huge tank they have great water pressure. The main fields have also been planted by so its a fully active farm again."

The plots are $50 per year for the 15 x 30 space. Water is available at the site. If interested, call Phil Stanway at 978-273-1474.
