Garden Club Federation of MA Scholarship Available

The Chelmsford Garden Club is pleased to make the following information available to local students. The Garden Club Federation of MA, Inc. (GCFM) has 11 scholarships available for Massachusetts students. They are accepting applications from qualified high school seniors, college students, and graduate students. Applicants must be a Massachusetts resident for one year, have a minimum “B” average, have good character, and have financial need. Scholarships are available for students majoring in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, city planning, environmental studies, land management, botany, biology and allied subjects. Three of the scholarships require that the student attend the University of Massachusetts, while the rest are unrestricted. The deadline for submitting applications is March 1, 2016. Applicants must be a resident of Massachusetts, have a minimum grade average of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), exhibit good character and demonstrate financial need.  You can email gcfmscholarship@aol.com for necessary forms and information.
