Harrington Elementary School Heritage Festival Tuesday, Feb. 3
Event for students, families, teachers, and staff takes place from 5-7 p.m. at the Harrington Elementary School.

Students, families, teachers, and staff at the Harrington Elementary School will celebrate the worldwide customs and traditions of our school community at the second annual Heritage Festival on Tuesday, Feb. 3. This free event will showcase traditional dance, music, books and art from around the world. Almost 20 local businesses and community groups are participating in this unique family event.
The event takes place Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Heritage Elementary School, 120 Richardson Road in North Chelmsford.

- Displays of student cultural projects from every grade level.
- International tables hosted by Harrington parents – including Sweden, Quebec, British Isles, China, Bosnia, Japan, Korea, Germany, Malta, and Italy, along with Cambodian, Irish, and Indian tables hosted by local community groups.
- Family passports to guide guests through all the countries at the festival.
- Performances by Centerstage Dance Academy, O’Shea Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance, Angkor Dance Troupe and Dance New England.
- Cultural story times and interactive Jewish folk songs in the school library.
- A special school-wide art project representing the spectrum of Harrington students.
- Samples of international food donated by Harrington families.
- A “Worldwide Bazaar” with henna tattoos, face painting, jewelry, books, pottery, and other items offered for sale by our vendors.
The Harrington Parent-Teacher Organization (HPTO) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that works to support, enhance, and enrich the Harrington Elementary School experience to benefit students, faculty, staff, families, and the local community. The HPTO would like to thank the Harrington teachers and staff for their ongoing support and assistance with the Heritage Festival.
