The Roberts Field Advisory Committee is working with the Town of Chelmsford to build the new nature-themed playground that will include a mix of natural landform play areas, prefab “natural” playground equipment, resilient fall material surfaces and pathways, landscaping, and natural play surfaces. Equipment should be long-lasting, require minimal maintenance, and be fully warranted with an expected 30+ year usable life. The new playground design will be finalized January 2018, with a "Community Build" installation planned for Summer 2018.
