The Lions would finish the game 7-2 after Rachel Bossi shot the puck behind Johnson 7:02 into the third period, with Madore and Sheehan assisting.

"They started off the game strong then they scored two goals and kind of went to sleep and woke up again after the first period was over," said Rowe. "We just told them, somebody's gonna go home sad tonight, and don't make it them, just keep working, and they did."

Rowe said he was glad to see the girls beating the Falcons to loose pucks and keeping their forwards outside the slot.

The Lions will play Hingham on March 3 and will have be prepared, Rowe said. Rowe said the Hingham team is a talented one.

"We have to protect our slot, we have to keep the other team to the outside, we can't let them in the slot to shoot on our goalie," he said.

Rowe said he watched Hingham play recently and was impressed with what he saw. Hingham won their playoff game against Masconomet 6-1.

"They have talented players, they like to cruise into the slot and fire it on net and we have to keep them out," he said.

The time and place for the next game has not yet been announced.
