Laura Merrill Has What it Takes to be an Outstanding Selectman

I am writing this letter to encourage you to consider voting for Laura Merrill for Chelmsford selectman on Tuesday, April 7. I have grown increasingly concerned with accelerated growth of town spending, and how these projects are being added to the town's outstanding debt. During their last term as selectmen, the incumbent candidates have repeatedly voted for more town spending and against attempts to control property taxes in this town. This lack of fiscal accountability and responsibility needs to change, and is the main reason I am supporting Laura Merrill for the Board of Selectmen this year. Laura, currently serves as a Precinct 2 Town Meeting representative. Laura is a knowledgeable, experienced, and committed professional who cares deeply about Chelmsford. Laura is a proven problem solver who continually demonstrates the ability to make fiscally responsible votes in the best interest of the residents of Chelmsford. She is a proven advocate for reigning in town spending, and controlling rising property taxes. Laura, is a tireless advocate for residents, and has the courage and determination to make difficult decisions in the best interests of taxpayers.
