Small Business Saturday is just the start of a big stretch for one local art gallery.
The Gallery & Gift Shop at Chelmsford Center for the Arts is hosting its fifth annual Holiday Fine Arts Gift Shop from Saturday, Nov. 26 to Sunday, Dec. 18 - just in time to get some Christmas shopping done.

The gallery's "Winter Wonder Land" presents the work of more than a dozen local artists, said co-curator Mary Woodward.
Some terrific gifts will be on sale, from jewelry to small paintings and prints to notecards and home decorating items - even wooden boxes and trays created from the purple beech tree that once stood on the town common.

A portion of the sales supports the Gallery.
"The [Chelmsford Center for the Arts] is run by Susan Gates and a small but dedicated group of local volunteers committed to celebrating art in Chelmsford," said Woodward.
The "Winter Wonder Land" will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. and Thursdays from 5-7. There is even a "Shop & Sip" evening scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2, from 5:30-7:30.
The Chelmsford Center for the Arts is located at 1A North Road in the old town hall.
