Lowell Fire Spreads, Leaves Families Homeless
The multi-alarm fire has spread across three homes on a frigid Thanksgiving night.

LOWELL, MA — Several families have been displaced Thanksgiving evening due to fires across multiple homes. The fire, on Arthur Street, was first reported shortly after 5:30 p.m. The Red Cross said it has spread across three homes.
Firefighters are battling the three-alarm blaze in frigid conditions. The temperature in Lowell was 13 degrees at 9 p.m., with a wind chill factor below zero.
