Lowell Hit-And-Run Injures Woman In Mobility Scooter
The 47-year-old was flown to the hospital after she was hit on Middlesex Street Tuesday night.

LOWELL, MA – Police in Lowell are looking for a driver who hit a woman in a motorized scooter and fled the scene Tuesday night, according to the Lowell Sun. The 47-year-old woman was struck on Middlesex Street near the West Aldea Street intersection.
She was flown to the hospital with serious injuries, the Sun reported. The SUV fled down Middlesex Street toward Chelmsford.
The SUV was described as dark-colored with heavy damage to its front, according to the Sun.
