Lowell Man Charged With Heroin Trafficking After Fast Food Bust

Undercover officers allegedly found three guns, cocaine and heroin at the man's home after buying from him at a Revere fast food restaurant.

LOWELL, MA – A suspected heroin trafficker living in Lowell was arrested Monday after undercover officers allegedly bought drugs from him at a Revere fast food restaurant. State police also found three guns and bags of substances believed to be heroin and cocaine inside the man's home.

Sandy Santiago, 32, was arrested and charged with trafficking heroin, distribution of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine and three counts of unlicensed possession of a firearm. He will also be charged as an armed career criminal.

Investigators believe Santiago was a source of heroin dealing in Suffolk County and allegedly made multiple undercover heroin buys from him.
