Lowell Murder Under Investigation: DA

LOWELL, MA – The murder of a man during an apparent home invasion in Lowell is under investigation, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said. Police were called to a Walker Street home Thursday morning for a report of a person with life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the man was assaulted during a home invasion Thursday morning. He was found when a second person, who also lives at the Walker Street residence, returned home, according to the DA.

Authorities have not yet publicly identified the victim. So far no arrests have been made.
