Mark Your Calendar for Candidates Forum Hosted by League of Women Voters of Chelmsford
Community event to meet Chelmsford candidates

The League of Women Voters of Chelmsford (LWVC) announced that their annual Candidates Forum is to be held Wednesday, March 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Chelmsford Police Department’s community room, located at 2 Olde North Rd. Candidates running for local offices in the upcoming April 4 election have been invited to speak to voters directly about the issues that matter to them and answer questions from the community.
The event will kick off with a half hour meet and greet to allow attendees to speak directly with their fellow Chelmsford citizens running for public office. Candidates for contested positions will then answer questions from the LWVC, the audience and the press. They will also have the opportunity to ask one question of their opponent, as well as give a two-minute closing statement. Candidates for the uncontested positions will be given the floor to make a three-minute presentation concerning their candidacy.
The event will be broadcast live by Chelmsford Telemedia. Those wishing to submit questions for the candidates may send them to the LWVC by emailing chrylbss@gmail.com.
