Toastmasters education track really brings me a new life

Our Area Director, Jacob Lam, asked: "Minne, after your graduate school study, you are a working professional now, can you tell us more about the differences between these "worlds"?"

Minne replied: "There is huge difference between campus and company. In campus, it is more relaxing and most of time we can communicate as chit-chatting. At work, it is more professional. The professors would forgive you if you have a hard time to express yourself clearly, but your supervisor may want you report concisely and explicitly. You can discuss with your classmates casually about the projects, but your clients may not like that way. The training in TM education track helps me to become more confident and more comfortable to communicate with different kinds of people, including my supervisor, colleagues, clients, and material suppliers. I would like to keep honing my communication skills following the TM education track. It really bring me a new life."
