No Swimming, Drinking Water at Heart Pond

People and pets are being advised to stay out of the water at Heart Pond for the next few days.

Heart Pond is annually treated around this time for invasive weeds. As a result, no boating, swimming, or fishing will be allowed until June 13. Residents are also advised not to drink the water and to keep pets out of the water so as not to ingest it. Residents should also not use Heart Pond to water lawns or plants until June 18.
