Public Discussion on Route 4 & I-495 Intersection
Officials will hold a discussion at Chelmsford Town Hall to inform residents about the proposed improvements.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is holding a public informational meeting regarding intersection improvements at Route 4 & I-495 in Chelmsford.
The meeting will take place Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. at Chelmsford Town Hall, Room 205.
Part of the proposal is as follows: "The primary improvement being advanced is the installation of a signal at the intersection of Route 4 and the I-495 off-ramp. Also included is the re-installation of curbing and sidewalks, the addition of 5’ wide bicycle lanes (both sides) and milling the roadway top surface and repaving. Reconstruction of existing sidewalks and curb ramps will be done to reflect the latest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards."

The project is expected to cost $1 million.
