State representative Cory Atkins met with the founder and CEO of Coastal Dog Apparel, Stephanie Magee, at the Colonial Inn in Concord.
The two women discussed the swimwear company, which Magee launched last year. Rep. Atkins voiced her support for the company and the lengths Ms. Magee went through to have the chafe free swimwear line made in Massachusetts.
"It was important to me to have the anti-chafing suits made in the USA. Even better that I could have them made in Massachusetts." Said Magee. "I like to support local businesses because I know how grateful I am every time another local business carries my line."

“Coastal Dog Apparel is a win-win-win,” said Atkins. “A creative woman runs it, it makes a product that people need, and the products are manufactured here in Massachusetts. Not only that, the company is committed to donating their profits to charity.”
Magee has selected Horizons for Homeless children to receive profits from sales of the anti-chafe suits.

"I like to call it a purchase with a purpose" says Magee. "Your son, husband, partner, nephew, - any guy in your life, - can have a chafe free day at the beach. He will feel good and you will feel good knowing the suit you purchased was made in the USA, and helped kids in need."
Coastal Dog swim suits are available in select stores throughout Massachusetts and online (www.coastaldogapprel.com).
