Serious Chelmsford Crash: All I-495 Lanes Open
The highway was completely shut down while a medical helicopter responded to the scene.
CHELMSFORD, MA – All lanes on I-495 are open following a serious crash in Chelmsford, according to officials. The crash involved multiple vehicles and serious injuries were reported, MassDOT spokesperson Jacquelyn Goddard said.
Both sides of the highway were temporarily closed near Exit 35 while a medical helicopter responded to the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
