Styrofoam Collection Scheduled for June 11 Cancelled

CHELMSFORD, MA — If you were saving up excess styrofoam for recycling, you might as well just throw it in the trash.

A styrofoam collection even scheduled for June 11 has ben cancelled, according to a town announcement. The collection event has been cancelled because only vendor in the town that recycles styrofoam has gone out of business.

Because the business is no longer operating, the event will not be rescheduled. Residents are now being advised to dispose styrofoam with other trash.
