The 17-year-old was thrown from the truck when the driver attempted to do a donut in a parking lot, police said.

TYNGSBORO, MA — A teen was seriously injured Wednesday night when he was thrown from the bed of a pickup truck in Tyngsborough, according to police. Authorities went to Ayotte's Stateline Smokin' Joe's at 9:11 p.m. and found a 17-year-old boy lying on the ground.
The teen was riding in the back of a truck that was driving erratically in the parking lot, according to Tyngsborough Police Chief Richard Howe. He was ejected from the bed and hit his head on the ground, Howe said.
The driver, a 19-year-old Lowell man, was "attempting to do a donut and the vehicle shook," Howe told WHDH.
