Two Injured as UPS Truck from Chelmsford Crashes in Mississippi
Both of the drivers involved in the accident were from the Chelmsford UPS office.

Two Massachusetts men were injured in a tractor trailer accident early Monday morning in Mississippi. Both men were drivers who worked out of the Chelmsford UPS office.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Brent Barfield told the Lowell Sun the accident occurred just before 5:45 a.m. Monday when the truck veered off the road before striking an embankment and some trees. The truck was pulling double trailers at the time of the crash.
The Hattiesburg American is reporting the driver, identified as Robert Phelan suffered minor injuries. Mark Macina, who the the Lowell Sun is reporting was sleeping in the truck’s sleeping compartment suffered more serious injuries. Both were treated at a local hospital.
