Volunteer Career Coach

Jesus taught us, “And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.” (Matthew 10:42)

I am Marina Lam. I am working as Senior Principal Software Engineer. In my spare time, I work as Volunteer Career Coach since 2013 New Year Day. I have been working as software engineer for more than 15 years. However, I have gotten 5 layoffs and one internal transfer in my career. I know that it is a norm for a USA professional to have several job transitions in our life time. During my layoff, my previous companies were very nice to me. They gave me career transition training how to write resume, Linkedin profile, perform phone and face-to-face interviews. I learnt all the latest technologies how to find jobs in the internet stage.
God gave me this chance to learn how to find jobs in my difficult times. I am going to share my knowledge and acuminated years of job transition experience to the needed students and professionals. I want to give a cup of cold water to him/her through the love of Jesus Christ.
