Voter Registration Deadline for November Election is Wednesday

The deadline for Chelmsford residents to register to vote in the Tuesday, Nov. 4 Election is 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15. The Chelmsford Town Clerk’s office will be open on Wednesday until 8 p.m. for voter registration.

Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballots are also currently available for the upcoming election. To obtain an absentee ballot, you must apply in writing to the Town Clerk’s office. While the deadline to apply for absentee ballots is noon the day before the election, the Secretary of State’s Office recommends submitting the application as soon as possible to allow enough time for the ballot to be mailed to you and be returned before the polls close on election day.
