What is the Concert for Music in Our Schools Month?

Each year, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) hosts the world's largest sing-along concert linking students around the world through music. This concert has reached an estimated 6 million students, teachers, and music supporters over the years. A highlight of Music In Our Schools Month®, the title “Concert for Music In Our Schools Month” reflects the Concert’s place in NAfME’s annual month-long celebration of school music!

The Parker Chorus has performed for the past 3 years as part of the NAfME concert. This year, under the direction of Directors Jodi Richardson and Christina Whittlesey, the Grade 5-8 Chorus performs "The Star Spangled Banner." Click below to see their performance:

In addition, the school that gets the most views during the month of March will win an AudioBox Stereo Recording Kit and training on how to use the product and software, generously provided by PreSonus! Please click the link regularly to help Parker win this excellent product for its music program!
