You're Invited! - April 5, 2016 - Student & Adult Artists & Musicians Sought

ArtsNashoba Seeks Artists & Musicians to be Featured in 4th Annual ArtsNight, 4/5 in Devens - www.artsnashoba.org

After the success of our previous regional art exhibits, SpringHill Suites has partnered once again with ArtsNashoba to present ArtNight! The Nashoba Valley enjoys such a wealth of artistic talent in our schools, and both SpringHill and ArtsNashoba are excited to be able to offer up this opportunity to shine a spotlight on as many students as we can!

This year - we're taking it one step further! In addition to the wonderful students exhibiting, regional Art teachers and artists and artisans are ALSO welcome to exhibit their works simultaneously in the adjacent Devens Common Center!

As always, there is no fee to exhibit during ArtNight - only an advance space reservation. We will welcome artists as long as space permits!

Call to Regional Students AND Adult Artists
Student artists and artisans working in all visual art media are welcome to participate and exhibit at this event. Again...there is no fee to participate – only effort and enthusiasm!

Established by ArtsNashoba, ArtNight is part of Marriott’s ‘Save Art Campaign,’ meant to corporately support and encourage school art programs at the community level, and it is SpringHill Suites hope to encourage and build the arts in the Nashoba Valley region. All students, schools, academies and/or organizations who teach art are welcome, and all participants will be considered to receive grants of art supplies donated by Marriott Hotels. Artists of all ages from grades K-12 are invited to exhibit, whether it is through their respective school/s or independently.

The exhibit, open to the public, will run from 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 5th, 2016, and will include refreshments by Marriott and activities for children of all ages. Live music from local musicians will also be offered for everyone's listening enjoyment. Families are very welcome.

How it Works
Each participant is allotted an exhibit space in the SpringHill Suites’ lobby and amenity areas (Student Works), or in the Devens Common Center (Adult Works). Spaces are distributed according to size of exhibit, power requirements, and/or an exhibit’s level of fragility, the placement of which determined by ArtsNashoba personnel and hotel staff. Participants are responsible for the set up and strike of their respective spaces. This includes personally supplying the free-standing tables, stands and display pieces needed to assemble exhibits. Hanging artwork on hotel walls is not permissible. Set-ups can be arranged any time between 9:00am on April 4 thru 4:00pm April 5. An ArtsNashoba representative must be present at set ups, so appointments must be made in advance to coordinate, please. Exhibits will be on display during a formal reception from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on April 5. Strike details will be determined shortly and posted herein.

*SpringHill Suites is not responsible loss of or damage to any exhibits left unattended.

Space is limited! Please email ArtsNashoba Executive Director JulieAnn Govang at julieann@artsnashoba.org ASAP to reserve your exhibit space, or call 978-772-2545.
